So here we are again fc fans. Start of the new season and we are as optimistic as ever. And after a superb victory over St Helens it seems that we are confident this is the year to break back into the top four.



I was looking at the fixture lists and thought if we can beat Saints then we could quite easily win our first five again!



The Giants are a good team but now we have the better pack and a much more potent attacking team we should be able to beat them.



Crusaders away after that and im going to be gutted if we dont get a convincing win there.



Harlequins have been poor and could be down there fighting for the wooden spoon and with so many of their better players out they can expect another beating at the hands of longy and co.



Castleford Tigers a team i like a lot as they always try and play good rugby and brought us back down to earth with a bang last season and could so again and with a brilliant win against Leeds could be a tough one but home advantage and us hopefully been on a roll will be enough to win this.



So if everything goes to plan fc will have played 5 won 5 and sit top of the tree!!! Problem is there sixth game is away to wigan ! and they could come crashing back down to earth again in the sixth game of the season...



Im sure everyone will be giving me stick if the giants win tonight lol but im just given you my honest opinion.



One thing for sure is that fc have the quality the pack and the attack and direction this year to pose all the teams a major problem....last thing giant fans LAUKI IS GONNA GET YEAH !!!!!!!!

One game at a time, if we go to the Crusaders thinking it will be a comfortable win then we could easily get done. Form changes week to week as do the conditions so personally I will not be looking to far ahead.

Im glad to say with people like fitzy in the team that they wont go into the game thinking all they have to do is turn up.



If its wet conditions our powerful pack will dominate if its dry conditions our backline will run havoc with longy at the helm ....next four are games we should be winning if we want to be a force this year.

i'm enjoying watching good rugby for a change, and enjoying success on a weekly basis!!

I think we need to be cautious in our approach...any of those games we could easily lose. We have won one game = 2 points that's all.

hmmmmmmmmmmm..... tell me about the youth policy at the club

I ,along with others no doubt, think that tonights game against Huddersfield is going to be a good yardstick on how we are going to perform over the season.

Apart from the fact they nilled us last season,they have a good defence.If we can break that down,then to quote Cab Man,the juggernaut is gonna roll!
