| Apologies for the new thread, feel free to merge if necessary.
Will FCVoices be asking for sight of the survey outcomes, I can fully understand the club not publishing the detailed figures, but knowing that decisions made have a clear and evidenced mandate may just convince some of the nay sayers?

| Damned if they do damned if they don't I suspect. If it shows a big majority in favour of Sunday's there will be those who state its fixed. If its 51 / 50 there will be those who will argue against change. Etc etc.
As with 3 years ago when there was no official survey (despite what JR said) we have to live with the decision and if you are in the Friday only camp just hope there is a favourable review next year.
I guess the danger of not having results published is that people will refuse to complete future surveys.
Either way damned if they do..........

People never even received this survey
So we have now had an official survey which never made it to all the people who put their e-mail address on their forms.

| Woo hoo, finally got mine through today for what it's worth. Said that Friday was my prefared match day as Sunday is the day of the lord and that baby Jesus wouldn't approve. Also stuck the boot into Agar and his bunch of merry men.

Yes I also put the boot in on Agar saying that the attendences will continue to drop unless Agar goes

Spot on.
At least the club has raised the issue with the supporters, albeit not perfectly.
The club could just have decided to change without any consultation.

I got mine last Thursday. Filled it in and returned it the same day.
The system clearly isn't perfect but is working at some level at least.

Same for me.
No system is ever going to be perfect. Plus AP has made his decision so it's done now we have to get on with it.

Do you not think that the fact the game day decision has been announced BEFORE the closing date for the survey (5th Sept) tells you that this decision was always going to be made and the moment the survey indicated a majority for Sundays its been used as an excuse / reason for the change?
Could it possibly be that our "Co-tenants" would prefer to play on teh KC pitch the day before we have played on it rather than the day after???

quite possibly, but I do not think AP would have made the change if he thought it would be detrimental to FC, if the arrangement suits all parties better than I don't see a problem with it, there aren't that many occasions where the football and rugby actually cross over on the same weekend, are there?

Not sure to be honest, but in the early months of our season when the ground is soft I can see the footy lot moaning if they had to play the day after we had.
My point was, the survey is a convenient way to say its the fans who have decided. I found this odd when the survey hadn't been completed.
I don't doubt AP's business awareness, but I can't help but thinking that corporate revenue will take a hit. I think most private box holders will struggle to attract clients to attend anything on a Sunday.
There is also the short turn around we will have for games against the top teams (Leeds, Wigan and St's) who are all Friday night homers.
Personally I would have thought it sensible to see the fixture list and apportion the games when it best suits the team so to reduce the number of short turn arounds we have. A split of Friday, Saturdays and Sundays could have been an option (Fridays for any Yorkshire club with fans close enought to travel, Saturdays mid / late afternoont for the likes of Quins and Les Cats) Sundays for Lancashire clubs giving ample travel time).

Possibly, but that is assuming we'll play them all away the round after a home game which is not necessarily the case. We might play, say, Wigan away the week after Leeds away.
You could also argue that when we play Warrington at home we'll have two extra days turnaround should we be playing away the Friday before whereas they'd be at home on the Sunday before.
