I don't know where this guy gets his info from (twitter and on these forums probably) but how would we feel about Carvell coming back? Would prefer Westwood if he's up for grabs!
As I say I don't think there is much basis to it unless anyone knows otherwise(?) sounds like Warrington are having a clear out if true....

I'd be utterly amazed if Carvell came back. Expensive and injury-prone, what would he bring to justify blocking the route of Green and Bowden? We need grunt up front, definitely, but Carvell's ability to deliver it every week is doubtful. |

Would be a backward step, he's 32 today according to wikipedia and his injury record has never been great.

Absolutely right. We get abused for giving pensions to Ozzie players coming to the end of their career, so why should we do it for British players, especially those who are not considered good enough for their existing club. As you say our young lads are the ones we should be nurturing as they are the future of our club. |

Fits the bill for a replacement for galea. Wouldn't surprise me at all |

wouldnt be a great move IMO... we had him at his best, saying that though, he went up a notch in terms of performance at wire... id say, stay well clear, too old and to injury prone
