How did Marsh, Ainscough and Davies play yesterday. Rumour has it that Ainscough may be heading your way on a permanent contract. (I don't know how true that is)

I didn't go the Leigh game, but through the past couple of weeks if we hadn't have had the Wigan players mainly Davies, I dred to think were we would be.

Davies is on Chris Hills fireplace,as a BOOKEND.

Ainscough was solid, Marsh scored a good try from backing up but didnt really have enough quality ball to work with (our half backs were awful yesterday) and Ben continues to be awesome, i would love to see him in a Vikings shirt permanently.



Ainscough would be a decent signing for us, Gaskell may find he's on the outer if he does sign.

Davies more than held his own yesterday, Haggerty and Pickersgill are both unfit and have only played one game prior.



It's good to beat the big guns isnt it Charlie.

Does not help with bad recruitment and a coach who plays his friends.Pickersgill and Haggerty should be playing reserves and Varkulis,Heckenberg and Houghton should be in the first team.Hulme should play scrumhalf rather than Coyle and Netherton is crap.Allen is better when not the captain, and i feel sorry for Smith as he should be starting.Who is to blame?The coach who makes these decisions, and is probably upsetting the morale in the team.My motto is play players on form and wonder why the reserves won well against leigh?Due to Cullen not playing the better players in the first team.

With Ainscoughs neat touch with the feet yesterday for his try he might have a future in the Premier League! Sadly for him, I don't think his defence is good enough to make him a top SL player - even at this level, too many tries go against us down his side. He's a great strike player and finisher, but these days wingers need to be able to deal with kicks out wide and he often comes up short. Perhaps something he can work on?



Davies is great, and if he builds on what he has could turn into a really top player.



Jury out on Marsh, as pointed out above, but showed good turn of pace for his try.



Our biggest loss this year was Farrell. Great for the lad himself, but him breaking into your first team was a bad result for us! Still, it was pretty obvious early on he was too good a player to be in this league and had he stayed with us, some of our narrow defeats would have been victories.

Iwonder how you know that after who you have beaten this season?As for King Cull,his team selection beggars belief some times,ithink he suffers from Wigan blindness,Hagg and Gannon are past it,Pickersgill aint up to it and Davies has CHRIS HILL posters on his bedroom wall,the season could be OVER for Wignes after Thursday,what an upset for Mr o Connor,could be heads will roll?Or he might do what he did at Chester.
