Maybe, looks to be more to do with filling the function and meeting rooms. Didn't personally fancy a wedding at NCP, it's a bit American, isn't it.



There are so many places now offering free function rooms that have great childrens play areas that it's always going to be difficult to charge for a room at NCP for childrens parties or christenings.

if people don`t moan and complain, then people will be left with a poor mediocre establishment who have no goals to improve.

Whilst its impossible to please everyone all of the time , if you believe what was on show yesterday as pre match entertainment was acceptable then that`s your perrogative..

but it was a very poor effort and like a lot of things this year it was sub standard and simply not good enough....

we are each entitled too our opinions....

Pricing is deffo the main thing that needs looking at. This new girl has an information data-base of circa 6000 people through Club Rovers and season ticket holders. We all have birthdays and many will have other celebrations such as engagements, anniversarys etc. There is no reason why the Harry Poole bar and 10 5 suite shouldnt be fully booked for every friday and saturday of the year with the exceptions of weekends with home Rovers games.

I would be interested to know how many junior birthday parties the club host aswell as opposed to Soccer Sensations. We should really be pushing these.

You'd make a brilliant Hull fan, it's all doom and gloom with you isn't it. Most gamedays there is nothing prematch, It's not harming anyone to give a local Rovers fan the chance to sing infront of a number of people. Because you didn't like it doesn't make it bad - It was better than the HKR Allstars dance team that used to grace our pitch.

Your not wrong and I don't disagree, The new north stand is proposed to include even more such facilities so it's only right to try and make the most use of what we have in preparation for having more available.

I agree. A couple of years ago we looked into having our then 4 year olds party at the club, I can't remember exact prices but it was expensive, all we wanted was a room as we had booked entertainment seperatley. I'm sure part of the cost was to cover bar staff, I explained that I didn't want a bar but they wouldn't budge, we ended up at Soccer Sensations.

It's increasingly hard with pubs also trying to get patrons in, many now have unbelievable kids areas and free function room. One of the pubs in our village (not the best pub) now has a great outdoor play area, free function room and is a stone throw from the church, perfect for the christening. Was at one last week, Jar in hand, free function and they stick a bouncy castle in the back, kids loved it.

I dont think it was match entertainment as such more like a kid getting a chance at Sumet he obviously loves doing I dont think he was to bad the sound system didn't help that needs looking at for next season, I enjoyed the songs he sung takes a lot of guts to do something like that gud on him.
