Why?

He still looks very nervous and unsure when dealing with any kick through towards the line, be it high or a grubber. Seems both our wingers are low on confidence in this respect of the game.



I do think Colbon has been good since he came back tho', his running out from our half has been very good and he's found the try line a fair bit its just he has at least one head fart a game and gifts a try.

Think we should sign him up,wigan had used him as a 2nd row for quite a while the season before we signed him and it strikes me the ground he makes at ist man,he may be worth a try at 2nd row which would take the pressure off his catching of high balls.!

No chance I hope he's had a very poor season in fact since he broke his jaw he isn't the player he was . Despite scoring today one permformance shouldn't earn him a contract. He's got to go

The bringer of doom strikes again!!

Colbon is out of contract and therefore I expect him to leave. However, there is no point in showing him the door unless a better replacement is already lined up. This goes for any of the OOC players, Rovers have to replace with equivalent or better if they are to improve next season. Apart from the obvious error yesterday, I though he had a decent game, he certainly knows how to finish when given an opportunity.



What's the status with the on-trial winger (Williams?).

Events away from the field have likely improved his prospects of a new deal, even more than his hat-trick.

Fair enough I apologise but I'm not bringer of doom I read this board for 5 years before joining and fully supporting the club, the past two results have given the squad confidence and foxy is one of those who really needed that, like any spoting tean freshing up the squad is good for club and moving players on. Some hard descion need to be made

I agree mate, there is a need to move some players on to create space for fresh blood. I worry that the ongoing situation with the coach (is he staying or moving on?) is delaying the contract & recruitment far too long. The "Galea/Vella/Fisher" situation is the key to all of this. I think we should keep 1 and lose 2, but I'm expecting all 3 to stay.
