For general speculation, I think one thread will be easiest all round. So if it is just speculation and wonderings, I'll move it here.

Halley's Bradford farewell thread was basically, nice guy but not good enough. I'd like to think we'd not use a quota spot on Phelps if we could have kept Briscoe though.
